The male student said that from today, he has been using the metro to get to school instead of riding his motorbike nearly 20km from his home in District 4 to his school in Thu Duc City. Instead of traveling by bus, shuttle bus, technology car... the group chose to travel by metro. "Normally, my wife and I travel by car to District 1 to work and take the children to school. Today, the whole family experienced the metro and everyone was surprised because taking the train is very convenient and civilized. The train runs on time, without having to endure traffic jams like on the road. According to Urban Railway Company No. 1 (HURC1), from today (December 23) until the next 6 months, metro train No. 1 will operate 200 trips per day, with service time from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. with a frequency of 8 minutes/trip during peak hours and 12 minutes/trip during off-peak hours.
