Applicable time from January 24 (December 25, year of the Dragon) to February 2 (January 5, year of the Snake).

Specifically, from January 24-28 (December 25-29), the route operates from 5am to 11pm. On January 29 (the first day of the Lunar New Year), the train operates from 0:30am to 2am and from 5pm to 10pm.

From January 30 to February 2 (ie the 2nd and 5th day of Tet), the train operates from 5am to 10pm.

During this time, the operator will adjust the number of trips and the time between trips accordingly based on the actual situation and the number of passengers.

The Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien metro line will officially operate from December 22, 2024 and tickets will be free for the first month. Every day, the train operates from 5am to 10pm with about 200 trips.

According to an update from Urban Railway Company No. 1 (HURC 1), after nearly 1 month of official operation, metro line No. 1 has carried out more than 5,400 safe trips with the number of passengers reaching more than 2.65 million, exceeding the target by 246% compared to the plan.

From January 21, Metro Line 1 will be put into commercial operation, with ticket prices according to regulations. Passengers will buy tickets at 40,000 VND/person/ticket/day, with no limit on the number of trips per day, and a 3-day ticket will cost 90,000 VND.

Monthly ticket price: 300,000 VND/person/ticket/month; students: 150,000 VND (50% discount).

Ho Chi Minh City implements a policy of 100% ticket price support for people with revolutionary contributions; people with disabilities; the elderly and children under 6 years old to travel by train and use bus routes connecting to metro line 1.
