Carlos Alcaraz reached the semi-finals of the London Open after defeating Grigor Dimitrov in the quarter-finals. Daniil Medvedev bowed out of the Halle Open after losing to Bautista Agut.

* Facing Grigor Dimitrov in the quarterfinals of the ATP 500 London Open 2023 in England, Alcaraz started well when he broke Dimitrov's first serve game. In game 6, Dimitrov had 3 chances to break back but the Bulgarian player missed. Alcaraz played calmly and won 6-4 in set 1.
In the second set, the match was exciting. Dimitrov broke Alcaraz's first serve and quickly took a 3-0 lead. Alcaraz fought back strongly with 2 consecutive breaks to lead 4-3.
In game 8, Dimitrov broke Alcaraz's serve for the second time, bringing the set to 4-4. In the pivotal game 9, Dimitrov lost to Alcaraz despite the Bulgarian serving. In the decisive game 10, Alcaraz made no mistake to defeat "Little Nadal" and the Spaniard won 6-4 in set 2.

* Second seed Holger Rune faces Lorenzo Musetti in the London Open quarter-finals. Musetti tried his best but still lost to the Danish player 4-6 in the first set.
In set 2, Holger Rune showed his mettle at the crucial moment to win 7-5, thereby winning a ticket to the semi-finals to meet Alex De Minaur (7:00 p.m. on June 24).

* At the ATP 500 Halle Open in Germany, number one seed Daniil Medvedev faced 35-year-old Bautista Agut in the quarterfinals. The match was tense and fierce, and the two players fought to the 12th game of set 1.
Medvedev served but could not finish the game and Bautista Agut took advantage of the opportunity to get the first break, thereby ending set 1 with a score of 7-5.
In the second set, Medvedev was constantly facing the risk of losing the break, but the Russian player was brave enough to overcome it. The set continued to be forced into a tie-break and Medvedev lost the mini-break on the second serve.
Bautista Agut showed his mettle and experience and ended the series with a score of 7-3. In the end, Medvedev lost 0-2 (score of sets 5-7, 6-7) to Bautista Agut and gave the right to enter the semi-finals to his opponent.
* In other notable matches at the Halle Open, Alexander Zverev defeated Nicolas Jarry 7-5 6-3 and won a ticket to the semi-finals. This was a difficult match for the German player as he had to go through 1 hour and 58 minutes of tension.
Third seed Andrey Rublev faced Tailon Griekspoor and lost 3-6 in the first set. The Russian player regained his form in time to win the remaining two sets and book his place in the Halle Open semi-finals.
