(Dan Tri) - After Mrs. Huong was discharged from the hospital, Quang Duong turned on the camera in front of the house and was surprised to see relatives and neighbors continuously coming to visit his mother from morning to night, "thinking it was like a class reunion".
On the night of December 17, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong (57 years old), living in Lu Phong village, Yen Ninh commune (Y Yen district, Nam Dinh province) was admitted to the emergency room. The next morning, she was transferred to the Infectious Diseases Department due to a diagnosis of intestinal infection and stomach pain.
During the first days of Mrs. Huong's hospitalization, Nguyen Quang Duong (23 years old) asked for leave from work to stay at the hospital to take care of his mother, while his father went home to take care of work. Only when his mother's health was stable did he return to work.
Hearing that Mrs. Huong was discharged from the hospital, for 11 hours (from 10am to 9pm on December 27), neighbors and relatives flocked to her house to ask about her condition.
"During the first two days after my mother was discharged from the hospital, about 15-20 people including neighbors, family members, and distant relatives... came to visit. Everyone took turns visiting from morning to night, and it felt like a class reunion. The house was always crowded and warm," Duong said.

Among the visitors, some bought cakes, some bought fruit, and even gave money, but Mrs. Huong did not accept.
Knowing that she had intestinal problems, the neighbors gave her advice on how to abstain from certain foods and drinks. With the warm care of relatives and neighbors, the whole Duong family happily welcomed her.
He said this action is like a village culture. Any family that has problems or needs help, spiritually or materially, from relatives to neighbors, are ready to encourage and share.
"Before, when I had my appendix removed, many neighbors and relatives came to visit me. Everyone gave me sugar and milk, which I still couldn't finish after 2 months," the young man said.

Later, Quang Duong posted the video on social media to preserve the memories of the affection between relatives and neighbors, unexpectedly attracting the attention and interest of the online community.
"In the countryside, whether it's a funeral or a wedding, the neighbors gather to help and support each other. Sometimes when we're too sad and don't have any special occasion, everyone gets together to slaughter a pig," said user Thanh Hai.
"It's the same in my hometown. When someone in the family is sick or has been to the hospital, relatives, neighbors, and acquaintances come to visit and encourage them. It's all about "love" and not about money or status like many people think," commented Nguyen Phuong.
At first, Ms. Huong expressed concern about posting her family story on social media. When she was admitted to and discharged from the hospital, she did not inform anyone outside of her family, because she thought her illness was not too serious and was afraid that her relatives would worry.
"When I watched the video again, I was very touched by the precious affection that everyone had for my family. We want to spread the warmth, affection and closeness of relatives and neighbors," said Ms. Huong.
