MC Quoc Tri - 3rd Runner-up of Mister Tourism World 2023: "I don't have time for a relationship yet"

In addition to the title of 3rd Runner-up Mister Tourism World 2023, MC Quoc Tri also won the secondary awards within the framework of the competition including: Best National Costume; Mister Tourism Asia Pacific and second prize for best presentation (The Best Speaker). Talking to Dan Viet reporter right after the flight from Brazil to Vietnam, MC Quoc Tri said that he was satisfied with the results achieved in the journey to participate in the "race" of Mister Tourism World 2023.

What does MC Quoc Tri think about Knot Thiraphat - Thailand's representative winning Mister Tourism World 2023?

- First of all, I have to admit that Knot Thiraphat - the representative of Thailand is very handsome, he has a perfect face and body. Knot Thiraphat is very friendly and radiates positive energy. The new Mister Tourism World 2023 and I helped each other a lot throughout the competition because he is also my roommate. Knot has a lot of experience competing in many competitions despite his young age.

The new Mister Tourism World 2023 is also very determined and serious about the activities of this competition. I am also happy that Mister Tourism World 2023 has chosen a worthy person for the highest position.

Possessing both outstanding appearance and good English communication skills, what prevents you from reaching the highest position in this competition?

- Thank you for your compliments and expectations of me. Actually, I started out as an MC and this is my first time participating in a prestigious international beauty pageant for men, while most of the other contestants started out as models and have experience in male beauty pageants. Therefore, although I always try my best and focus on each round, I also try to keep myself from being pressured about my performance as much as possible.

My goal was to make it to the Top 10, as well as win the Best National Costume award. So the final result was beyond my expectations and I don’t think I need to find out why I didn’t get the highest position.

During your participation in the Mister Tourism World 2023 contest, do you have any special secrets to maintain your health and toned body?

- During the competition, the contestants have to work on a very tight schedule and don't have much time to rest. Therefore, I often take advantage of short breaks to practice simple movements such as push-ups, sit-ups... When I can wake up earlier, I go to the gym with Knot to practice more.

Regarding diet, I am quite comfortable to keep myself energized enough to participate in both physical and mental activities at the competition.

MC Quoc Tri does not set standards for his "other half"

Many people think that the male kings will have quite high standards for the appearance of their "other half". What is MC Quoc Tri's relationship like and does he have any ideal model for himself?

- Actually, I don't have any criteria for my "other half". I think the most important thing is the harmony in personality, life philosophy, thinking and that is what attracts me the most. But at the present time, with so many cherished things as well as a busy work schedule, I still don't have time for any romantic relationship.

What are MC Quoc Tri's upcoming plans after winning the Mister Tourism World 2023 runner-up prize ?

- With the title of Runner-up of Face of Television 2022 and now Runner-up of World Tourism, King of Asia Pacific Tourism, I feel that I need to have more responsibility towards the community. In the future, I will definitely accompany community projects, especially those related to culture, nature and tourism. Besides, I still keep the passion and pursue the artistic activities.

In the coming year 2024, I hope that in addition to my role as MC, I will be welcomed by the audience in music and film products.

Nguyen Quoc Tri was born in 1995, from Dong Thap. He is 1.8 m tall, weighs 70 kg, and graduated from Ho Chi Minh City Open University. After winning the runner-up position of Face of Television 2022, he stopped working as a chief flight attendant at an airline. Quoc Tri works in the arts as an MC and model. He has been an MC for the programs: Four Directions Stories, City Night, Miss Silk Heritage Vietnam ...

Most recently, MC Quoc Tri took on the role of Coach (Mentor) at the 2023 Golden Microphone contest and was the MC leading the Miss Silk - Vietnam Heritage 2024 contest. In addition to being an MC, Quoc Tri attracted attention when participating in the game show Chung suc - Chung long on HTV.

MC Quoc Tri's achievement as 3rd runner-up of Mister Tourism World 2023 is also the highest achievement of Vietnamese representatives participating in this contest. Before MC Quoc Tri, Vietnam had 3 contestants competing at Mister Tourism World including: Pham Xuan Hien (2016) and Tran Manh Kien (2017) who did not achieve high results; Phung Phuoc Thinh (2022) won the title of 5th runner-up.
