Mbappe and Vinicius could be banned from Champions League for 'indecent behaviour'

UEFA has opened an investigation into alleged "indecent conduct" by star quartet Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior, Antonio Rudiger and Daniel Ceballos following the controversial penalty shootout win over Atletico Madrid in the last 16.

Accordingly, Brazilian striker Vinicius is said to have repeatedly clashed with Atletico Madrid fans during and after the match. Rudiger is accused of "cutting the throat" of fans. French star Mbappe is accused of touching his "sensitive parts" in an indecent manner.

A UEFA spokesperson told sports newspaper Marca : "A UEFA inspector has been appointed to investigate allegations of indecent behavior by Real Madrid players Antonio Rudiger, Kylian Mbappe, Daniel Ceballos Fernandez and Vinicius Junior during the match against Atletico Madrid."

If found guilty, the players could be banned from the remaining UEFA Champions League matches. Real Madrid are scheduled to face Arsenal in the Champions League quarter-finals, with the first leg at the Emirates on April 8 and the return leg at the Bernabeu on April 16.

Mbappe is known to be Real Madrid's top scorer this season with 31 goals in all competitions, while Vinicius is second with 19 goals.
