MB has a new Deputy General Director.

Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB - HoSE: MBB) has just issued a decision appointing Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoc as Deputy General Director and Head of Information Technology of the Group, effective from July 2, 2024.

The maximum term of appointment is 5 years. Mr. Hoc was born in 1980, holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

He has over 20 years of experience working at MB. He has held many important positions at MB, such as Head of CBS Development, Head of Information Technology Management (2012-2017), Deputy Director of Operations and Support Center (2012-2017), Deputy Director of IT Division, Director of IT Division and Director of IT for the entire group, and has consistently performed his assigned duties exceptionally well for many years.

Prior to his appointment as Deputy General Director, he had been a Member and Chief Information Officer of MB Group since March 2022.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoc has been appointed as Deputy General Director of MB.

According to the information on the website, MB currently has a total of 14 members on its Executive Board, with General Director Pham Nhu Anh as the head.

On the same day, MB also announced the addition of company insiders. Accordingly, 6 members of the Executive Board, including Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc, Mr. Vu Hong Phu, Ms. Tran Thi Bao Que, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy, Mr. Le Xuan Vu, and Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoc, became MB insiders from July 1, 2024, based on MB's charter.

On June 15th, MB's extraordinary general meeting elected the Board of Directors and Supervisory Board members for the 2024-2029 term, consisting of 11 Board members (including 1 independent member) and 5 Supervisory Board members.

Accordingly, MB's new Board of Directors consists of four former members: Mr. Luu Trung Thai, Ms. Vu Thi Hai Phuong, Ms. Vu Thai Huyen, and Mr. Le Viet Hai, plus seven new members: Mr. Pham Nhu Anh, Mr. Pham Doan Cuong, Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Hien, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai Ly, Mr. Vu Xuan Nam, Mr. Vu Thanh Trung, and Mr. Hoang Van Sam. Mr. Luu Trung Thai continues to hold the position of Chairman of MB's Board of Directors .
