On June 30, 2023, Ninh Binh City Police issued a decision to temporarily detain Tran Dai Huynh, born in 1983, residing in Duc Tho district, Ha Tinh province, to investigate the act of property destruction.
Previously, at about 4:20 p.m. on June 29, 2023, a fire broke out at the Taiwanese Milk Tea shop at 105 Tran Nhan Tong Street, Phuc Thinh Street, Bich Dao Ward.
Immediately after receiving the news, Ninh Binh City Police quickly coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department and the Provincial Police to mobilize forces and vehicles to quickly arrive at the scene to deploy measures, control and extinguish the fire, and prevent it from spreading to neighboring houses.
At the same time, using professional measures, Ninh Binh City Police quickly controlled and arrested the subject who caused the above incident, Tran Dai Huynh; the police force seized 1 gun (rotary gun, 9 bullets) and 1 lighter used to light gasoline...
At the police station, Tran Dai Huynh initially confessed that due to a conflict in his relationship with his wife, Ms. TT D, born in 1990, residing in Hong Linh town, Ha Tinh province, currently an employee at the shop of Mr. BVG, born in 1992, located at 105 Tran Nhan Tong street, Phuc Thinh ward, Bich Dao ward, he brought a homemade gun and gasoline to burn the shop. The incident caused the furniture on the first floor of the shop to burn, Ms. D suffered burns to her face and had to be taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Ninh Binh City Police is continuing to expand the investigation, consolidate evidence to handle according to the provisions of law.
