
Over the past 5 years, the Cho Chun Commune Front has mobilized nearly 61 million VND to support the Fund for the Poor; coordinated with member organizations to help 40 households escape poverty sustainably; and supported 340 gifts for poor households worth more than 120 million VND.
The Commune Front organized 30 propaganda sessions with 3,000 participants; organized 12 monitoring sessions, 2 social criticism sessions, and 4 police conferences to listen to people's opinions.
During the past term, the commune and village departments organized two visits to the twin villages of Tang Nong, Tang To Lang, and Tang Zoih (Dak Chung district, Se Kong province, Laos) and presented 2 tons of rice, 100 boxes of instant noodles, 100 packs of MSG, 200 kg of salt... on the occasion of the traditional Bunpimay New Year.
The consultative congress elected 32 members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cho Chun commune, term X; Mr. Alang Dot was elected Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune.
Thus, up to now, 12/12 communes and towns of Nam Giang district have successfully organized the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress for the 2024 - 2029 term.
