Building new rural areas (NRD) is a correct policy of the Party and the State, an opportunity to change the face, create new vitality for the countryside, and constantly improve the material and spiritual life of people in localities. Deeply aware of the importance of building NRD, in recent years, the Fatherland Front (FF) of Xuan Truong district has actively propagated and mobilized people to actively participate in building advanced and exemplary NRD, contributing to creating an increasingly prosperous appearance of the countryside.

The district Fatherland Front has implemented the program of building advanced and exemplary new rural areas, integrating the implementation of the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas"; directed the Fatherland Fronts of communes and towns to propagate and mobilize people to well implement the 5 contents of the campaign through village and hamlet meetings; launched the construction of typical models in residential areas; well implemented the Regulations on Democracy at the grassroots level with the motto "People know, people discuss, people do, people inspect, people supervise, people benefit". The Front staff actively propagated and mobilized each household and people about the criteria for building advanced and exemplary new rural areas, first of all, the criteria that have a direct impact on the production and living life of the people such as: educational facilities; landscape and environment, waste classification and treatment at source; developing production models, creating more jobs, increasing income for people...
To improve the lives of rural people, the Fatherland Front at all levels and organizations always pay attention to taking care of the lives of union members, members and people. Every year, the Fatherland Front of the district directs and mobilizes the establishment of the "For the Poor" Fund and resources to support housing construction for poor households; closely coordinates with the government and member organizations to review poor households, identify the causes, and from there develop plans and appropriate support solutions for poor households. On holidays and Tet, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the district coordinates with member organizations to carry out many practical activities to care for policy families, poor households, and people in difficult circumstances. The Fatherland Front at all levels in the district also coordinates well in monitoring the implementation of policies on building new rural areas in the area, ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of the people in building new rural areas.
Member organizations of the Front, especially political and social organizations, actively mobilize union members to actively participate in building advanced and exemplary new rural areas. Women's Unions at all levels in the district have actively responded to the movement "Nam Dinh women practice saving to buy health insurance - For family health" launched by the Provincial Women's Union; directed the Union bases to effectively maintain the models "Women's branches, teams, and groups practice saving to buy health insurance - For family health" at the branches. Up to now, the rate of female members with health insurance cards has reached 93%. In addition, Women's Unions at all levels continue to effectively implement the Project "Building green - clean - beautiful roads managed by women"; the campaign "Building a family of 5 no, 3 clean", attracting a large number of members to participate; undertake the care, pruning and planting of 166 flower paths with a total length of 87,230m at the headquarters of the People's Committee of communes, towns, cultural houses of villages, hamlets, and residential groups, contributing to making the environment of village roads and alleys green - clean - beautiful. The Women's Unions of communes and towns also launched and expanded the model of "Green Living Association"; treated and classified waste at the source, contributing to the construction of advanced and exemplary new rural areas in the locality. Farmers' Associations at all levels continued to propagate and mobilize cadres and members to improve the criteria for building advanced and exemplary new rural areas; developed and organized the implementation of plans to mobilize members and people to classify waste, dig holes to treat soft waste at households, build model gardens and ponds, and collect pesticide packaging in the fields. As a result, up to now, 8/20 communes and towns have coordinated to launch the model of "Green Living Association"; Communication guides members and people to classify and treat organic waste at households. Farmers' Associations of communes and towns mobilized farmer members to dig over 6,500 garbage pits at households, 20,126 households used compost bins and covered garbage pits to treat organic waste with microorganisms. Farmers' Association members also actively contributed their efforts and money to upgrade the traffic system, cultural houses in hamlets, residential groups, lighting systems, and solidified canal embankments; participated in environmental sanitation, village roads and alleys, and beautified family grounds to be bright - green - clean - beautiful. Youth Union chapters at all levels in the district promoted the implementation of the movement "Xuan Truong Youth join hands to build advanced new rural areas, model new rural residential areas", widely deployed youth volunteer movements, environmental protection activities, and response to climate change; annually organized many general environmental cleaning campaigns attracting thousands of union members and young people to participate. Up to now, the whole district has 19/20 communes and towns achieving advanced NTM standards, 3/20 communes achieving model NTM criteria.
In the coming time, the Fatherland Front of Xuan Truong district will coordinate with all levels, sectors and member organizations to continue to promote propaganda, mobilization, and create conditions for people to discuss, contribute ideas, and promote their ownership in the process of participating in building advanced and exemplary new rural areas. Improve the effectiveness of supervision and social criticism of the Fatherland Front in supervising the implementation of mechanisms and policies on building new rural areas and sustainable poverty reduction. Continue to organize the collection of votes to assess people's satisfaction with the results of building advanced and exemplary new rural areas to ensure seriousness, objectivity, honesty, and reflect the wishes and aspirations of the people./.
