On May 23, the Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department (Cyber Security Department) of Da Nang City Police announced that it had just discovered and clarified a ring specializing in buying, selling, transporting and forging seals and documents of agencies and organizations across the country.

The ringleader of this ring is Ms. NTCT (residing in Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City), currently the owner of a post office in this locality.

According to the initial investigation, while performing the post office's job of transporting other normal goods, Ms. T. was also the focal point for organizing the purchase and transportation of fake documents.

This person is in charge of management and transportation in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces; at the same time, he selected and coordinated with Mr. PXT, the owner of a post office in Hanoi , to be in charge of management and transportation in the northern provinces.

As for other provinces, the two subjects above selected one person from each province who they knew and trusted to be in charge of transportation to expand the network. In Da Nang, subject BL (residing in Hai Chau district) was chosen to be in charge of transportation here.

To fool the authorities when transporting these fake documents, the subjects wrapped them in black plastic bags, the outside of which was disguised by the name of the item as "feng shui painting", this is also the product name convention between the producer and the buyer.

If the goods are delivered without the above name on the outside, absolutely do not accept them. For each order containing fake documents that is shipped, NTCT benefits 24,000 VND, plus 1% of the order value.

During the police investigation, it was determined that from the beginning of 2022 until now, Ms. T. has transported more than 20,000 orders with a total amount of over 30 billion VND.

The case is under further investigation.
