The HCM City Export 2023 event took place for the first time in 4 days from May 25 to May 28 at the SECC International Exhibition Center, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. As a companion of the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City, Masan Consumer brought an extremely prominent space, recreating the CHIN-SU booth at Foodex Tokyo - Japan in early March 2023. Here, CHIN-SU proudly introduced the Japanese flavor product line that is currently being sold in parallel in the Vietnamese market.

Masan Consumer is promoting the strategy of “Go Global - bringing Vietnamese brands to the world” aiming for 15% of its revenue in 2027 to come from international business. Success in the Japanese market is a lever for CHIN-SU spices in particular and other products of Masan Consumer in general to easily penetrate many other developed markets in the world such as Korea, Australia, Europe and North America.
Ms. Dinh Hong Van - Senior Marketing Director of Masan Consumer Goods Joint Stock Company, a companion of HCM City Export 2023 this time, said: “ Masan started as an export company, then built a factory and domestic business to become one of the largest consumer goods companies in Vietnam. Currently, Masan Consumer is promoting the strategy of exporting typical products to the world.
As shared, we aim for 15% of our 2027 revenue to come from international business. Currently it is only 4%, so each year we need to add 2-3% to this proportion. HCM City Export 2023 is truly a practical event for the city in the context of the global economic trade promotion after the COVID-19 pandemic.
We hope that this will be an annual event attracting a large number of international and domestic companies, becoming a typical event of Ho Chi Minh City, worthy of fairs of countries in the region and the world .
