According to parents' feedback, the incident happened on the morning of June 7, at the exam site of Nguyen Dang Dao High School, Tien Du district, Bac Ninh province.
The invigilator asked the candidate to take the exam into the restroom?
The entrance exam for grade 10 of non-specialized public high schools in Bac Ninh province took place on June 6 and 7 with three subjects, respectively literature, English, and math.
On the morning of June 7, candidates completed the final exam, math, consisting of two parts: essay and multiple choice, with a total time of 120 minutes.
However, after the candidates completed the exam, a parent's post appeared on social media accusing the supervisor of asking the candidate to take the math exam paper out of the exam room, then using his phone to take a photo of the candidate's entire exam paper.
"This morning, my child took the math exam for grade 10. When he was almost done with the test, a male invigilator arbitrarily invited him out of the exam room (and asked him to bring his test paper) into the restroom. He closed the restroom door and used his phone to take a picture of his entire test paper.
When I asked the teacher why he took the photo, the exam supervisor replied that he took it to take home for reference.
According to the child, the exam supervisor invited 3 to 4 students who finished the test the fastest, with different test codes, to go to the restroom to take pictures of their test papers.
Why are exam invigilators allowed to do this?
As a parent, I request the school and authorities to clarify the above incident so that the exam at Nguyen Dang Dao High School, Tien Du, Bac Ninh can be transparent," the parent wrote.

The school said there was no basis.
Speaking to Tuoi Tre Online on the afternoon of June 14, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Dung, chairman of the exam board of Nguyen Dang Dao High School and principal of the school, said that after the math exam, he heard reports of an "unusual" incident in a certain exam room. Specifically, online reports said that a teacher took photos of students' work.
However, according to Mr. Dung, up to now there has not been any meeting between him and all the exam board supervisors after the information spread online, because he assessed that this information "is not known to be true or false, has no basis".
In addition, Mr. Dung said he did not know whether the police had investigated this incident or not.
According to Mr. Dung, during the 10th grade entrance exam, at this testing site, there will be two invigilators inside each exam room. Outside the exam room, there will be one invigilator for every two exam rooms.
In addition, each floor has a leader to supervise the examination area. Below the examination area, there are police on duty.
"During the exam organization process, when I went to check, I did not notice anything unusual, everything happened according to the regulations. When the information spread online, we also investigated the specific incident. Until now, there is still no specific information.
After completing the exam documents, we packed them and sent them to the Department of Education and Training. We did not know who was assigned where, who was the first exam supervisor, and who was the second exam supervisor.
On social networks, I don't know who the student is, where he studies, and I don't know if there is an incident or not, and I don't know which teacher is being reported.
As the chairman of the examination board and principal of the school, I will be responsible if anything happens that is not in accordance with regulations," said Mr. Dung.
The department said "there was a violation of regulations"
Speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , Mr. Nguyen Duc Ha, Head of the Department of Education Quality Management, Bac Ninh Department of Education and Training confirmed that there were violations of exam regulations in the 10th grade entrance exam at Nguyen Dang Dao High School, Tien Du District, Bac Ninh Province.
According to Mr. Ha, upon receiving information from parents on social networks, the Department organized an inspection team to Nguyen Dang Dao High School to verify the reported content.
"The Department initially determined that there was a violation of regulations. Specific information cannot be disclosed yet because the police are working," said Mr. Ha.
Mr. Ha added that when the information was shared online, the police went to the student's family to verify the information the family had posted online, and to verify the situation and incident.
"The students just went out, not to take pictures of their papers. Only one student went out, not 3-4 students. The exam supervisors also said they did not observe the phenomenon as reported," said Mr. Ha.
According to Mr. Ha, currently both Tien Du district police and Bac Ninh province police are investigating and verifying the incident. After the police clarify the content of the incident, the Bac Ninh Department of Education and Training will have official information about the incident.
In addition, Mr. Ha said that the invigilator who was reported was the number 1 invigilator in the examination room. Currently, this invigilator is still on the exam room assignment list. He may soon participate in the high school graduation exam.
