15-minute fireworks display lights up Hanoi sky to celebrate 50 years of national reunification

At 9:45 p.m. on April 22, a fireworks display to celebrate the 50th anniversary of national reunification took place at My Dinh Stadium to create an exciting and united atmosphere among the people of the capital.

The fireworks display will be located at the F1 racetrack (Phu Do ward, Nam Tu Liem district), lasting 15 minutes from 9:45 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The display combines high-altitude fireworks (500 fireworks), low-altitude fireworks (150 sets) and pyrotechnics (12 simultaneous jets, 240 colored nozzles).

The event is part of the art and political program "North-South Promise" and the live television program "Forever the Triumphant Song" taking place at My Dinh Stadium.

In addition to this area, Hanoi also organizes a high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks display at the Multi-purpose stage area - Thong Nhat Park.

The Hanoi People's Committee has assigned the Capital Command to preside over the entire process of deploying the fireworks display, from transportation, installation to organization of the firing.

Departments, branches, police and fire prevention forces were also mobilized to coordinate to ensure security, order, fire safety and traffic flow during the event.

According to the plan announced by the Hanoi People's Committee, the capital's residents will be able to enjoy two large-scale fireworks displays on the evenings of April 22 and April 27.

These are key activities in a series of cultural and artistic events to celebrate the April 30th holiday, and at the same time express deep gratitude to generations of ancestors who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

Before that, at 8:00 p.m., the political and artistic program "North-South Appointment" and the live television program "Vang Mai Khuc Khai Trieu" took place, attracting tens of thousands of viewers.
