Feast your eyes on Su-30MK2 fighter jets performing acrobatics in the sky of Hanoi

In recent days, Su-30MK2 squadrons of the Air Defense - Air Force have moved from Kep airport (Bac Giang) to Gia Lam airport (Hanoi), where the opening ceremony of the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024 will take place.

According to Thanh Nien 's records on the morning of November 30, under the inspection of General Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defense and the high-ranking leadership delegation of the Ministry of National Defense, 7 Su30-MK2 fighter jets and pilots of Air Force Regiment 927 and Regiment 923 had a successful joint performance.

During today’s practice flight, many difficult flying techniques were performed by the pilots. That was the “turn on the drill force” flying technique which required the skillful skills and courage of a fighter pilot.

Immediately after the inspection, General Phan Van Giang praised the pilots. “I assign the Commander of the Air Defense - Air Force to praise the air force. Our pilots are heroic pilots who demonstrate their strength to the world,” said Mr. Giang.

General Phan Van Giang said that the Air Defense - Air Force needs to overcome difficulties and not worry about anything because flying at the exhibition means flying in the world, not just for Vietnam. "Our actions represent the Vietnamese people with more than 4,000 years of history," Mr. Giang continued.

This morning, 2 squadrons of 7 Su-30MK2 fighters moved from Kep airport to Gia Lam airport area. Squadron 1, consisting of 3 aircraft, practiced flying in a triangle formation to the demonstration area at Gia Lam airport.

After arriving at Gia Lam airport, the 3 planes separated.

The plane in the middle performs the "power-up" flying technique, flipping many times in the air.

In the second time, the Su-30MK2 fighters continued to demonstrate more difficult flying techniques.

In the third flight, squadron 2 consisting of 4 Su-30MK2 fighters entered the demonstration area.

After reaching the stage area, the four planes split up.

Two planes turned left, one plane turned right.

The plane in the middle shot straight up into the sky and then performed a flying flip.

Immediately afterwards, Mi helicopters carrying the national flag took off from Hoa Lac airport, divided into two teams and flew past the stage.
