On the evening of April 22, more than 10,000 spectators flocked to My Dinh Stadium to enjoy the art program North-South Appointment . The program was chaired by the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army and Hanoi City, and directed by the Army Radio and Television Center.

The North-South Appointment made a strong impression with a large-scale live stage of 2,700m2, creatively designed with two staggered blocks symbolizing the North and South, in the middle is the image of Hien Luong bridge across Ben Hai river. The modern surround sound system combined with laser light effects creates impressive scenes such as troops marching through Truong Son forest, tanks entering Independence Palace, and boats cutting through the waves of Ben Hai river.

The most impressive moment was when two T-54 tanks numbered 822 and 173 entered the stage in the scene "Army troops cut through Truong Son to save the country ". To bring the tens of tons of tanks into the stadium without damaging the Pit Road, the Air Defense - Air Force had to install a specialized runway. When the tanks and troop transport vehicles appeared, tens of thousands of spectators cheered.

The program gathered more than 800 artists, actors and soldiers to perform. Many famous artists participated such as People's Artist Thanh Hoa, People's Artist Tu Long, People's Artist Pham Phuong Thao, Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung, Meritorious Artist Vu Thang Loi, Do To Hoa, singer Hoa Minzy, Anh Tu, and the Oplus group.

The highlight was the duet performance of the song “Green Forest” resounding with the sound of Ta Lu (Phuong Nam) between People’s Artist Thanh Hoa and singer Hoa Minzy. The combination of two voices from two generations created an extremely impressive performance and received endless applause from the audience.

Next, when Hoa Minzy performed the song "Vietnam in me" (Yen Le), thousands of young audiences held red flags with yellow stars and sang along enthusiastically. The moment thousands of people sang in unison "Red blood, yellow skin, I am Vietnamese" created a sacred atmosphere.

Other performances also made a strong impression, such as People's Artist Tu Long and singer Anh Tu performing Mother Loves Me (Nguyen Van Ty); Vu Thang Loi, Hoang Tung, Viet Danh with the songs The Road We Go (lyrics from Xuan Sach, music from Huy Du), The Night Stars (Phan Huynh Dieu); People's Artist Pham Phuong Thao and the Oplus group performing Loi Ca Dian Bac (Trong Loan). The Oplus group performed Green Leaves (Hoang Viet), Light Up My Fire (Huy Du); singer Ho Trung Dung performed Mother, Please Rest Assured ; To My and Quoc Dai with the male and female choir performed the new song Ap uoc Bac - Nam by musician Pham Hong Bien.

The audience's emotions reached their peak at the end of the program when Anh Tu, People's Artist Tu Long and military artists performed a mashup of Dat Nuoc Tron Niem Vui (Hoang Ha) and Cung Dan Mua Xuan (Cao Viet Bach). The stage lit up with hundreds of artists in red costumes and national flags, making the audience burst into tears.

In particular, the program's finale also included a 15-minute fireworks display to the background music of the songs "As if Uncle Ho were here on the great victory day" and "The Country is full of joy" . In the bright fireworks, thousands of people sang along, many young audiences stayed on stage and continued singing after the program.
