Thousands of visitors to ITE HCMC 2024 on the first day of the Fair's opening
At ITE HCMC 2024, Malaysia continues its relentless efforts to promote the image of the country, culture and cuisine of Malaysia to Vietnam and international visitors. Malaysia has become a popular tourist destination in recent years. Visitors will have the opportunity to admire attractive traditional cultural performances performed by talented artists from Malaysia. When traveling to Malaysia, visitors will discover unique tourism products of Malaysia. These are diverse tourist destinations, rich cultural heritage and a series of affordable resort packages.

Malaysia aims to attract 27.3 million international visitors and RM102.7 billion (US$22.82 billion) in tourism revenue by 2024. There are currently 142 direct flights from Vietnam to Malaysia every week. Accordingly, the Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign emphasizes this aspiration with the target of attracting 35.6 million international visitors and earning RM147.1 billion in tourism revenue.
Meanwhile, at ITE HCMC 2024, Thailand will focus on introducing impressive tourism products on tourism practices, interesting, safe, family-friendly destinations. Here, Thailand will introduce attractive, cheap travel packages, tours, or travel policies when traveling to Thailand. In particular, Thailand focuses on cultural, culinary, and shopping tourism. Tourism stimulus policies are implemented.
Leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam and the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City visited the Thailand booth.

According to the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), it is estimated that more than 12 million foreign tourists will visit Thailand in the last four months of 2024, bringing the total number of visitors for the year to nearly 36 million, exceeding the target of attracting at least 35 million visitors this year with revenue from international markets expected to reach 1.8 trillion baht.
Like Malaysia, Vietnam – Thailand now also has many direct flights to Bangkok and other tourist destinations in Thailand. Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air are famous for their extensive flight network, with direct flights connecting Vietnam with Malaysia and Thailand, helping to strengthen the close connection between the countries.
As for Laos - a country with a unique culture and pristine landscapes, ITE HCMC 2024 is an opportunity for Laos to promote the beauty of the country and its people to international friends, inviting Vietnamese people to come and experience the wild nature here.

Currently, many of the world's leading hotel and travel groups have also chosen Laos as a potential market. Recently, Hilton Group has built a hotel in the capital Vientiane (Laos), marking Laos tourism on the world map.
In 2024, the country's tourism industry plans to attract about 4 million international visitors, generating about 1 billion USD in revenue to contribute to the economy, so Laos is promoting and advertising the image of Laos to achieve the set goals.
Meanwhile, through the development of tourism infrastructure, sports events and the implementation of digital technology according to the roadmap of the Ministry of Tourism, Cambodia expects to welcome 5.6 million international tourists in 2024; and aims to attract about 7 million foreign visitors in 2025.
Cambodia also stepped up its promotion of the country's image with the world heritage symbol Angkor Wat.
