Phuc Loc commune has 12/17 highland villages, currently 3 villages do not have car roads, 5 villages do not have electricity grid. The whole commune has 735 households, with a population of 3,415 people, the poverty rate is 32.3%. The 12 highland villages of the commune are mainly Mong and Dao ethnic groups, of which 4 villages are Mong ethnic groups with 100% poor households.
At the program, the Youth Union of the Central Office of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and sponsors presented meaningful gifts to the people of Phuc Loc commune, including: supporting 10 Great Solidarity houses in response to the program "Warm home for my people" (each house worth 60 million VND); 30 boxes of student notebooks worth 55 million VND; giving 200 portions of cakes, milk and scholarships worth 10 million VND to students. The total value of support given at the program is about 700 million VND.
Speaking at the program, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Central Office of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Luong Thi Huyen Trang said that the donation of 10 houses and supporting gifts not only brings material warmth but also a source of spiritual encouragement to people who have suffered difficulties and damage caused by natural disasters; at the same time, she hopes that the program "Warm home for my people" will continue to receive more support, spread more widely in society, bringing joy and happiness to many other families across the country.
