Traffic intersections include: Hang Xanh intersection, An Phu intersection and routes leading to Cat Lai seaport (Thu Duc City), Democracy Square intersection (Vo Thi Sau - Cach Mang Thang Tam), Cong Hoa street (Tan Binh District), Truong Trinh (Tan Phu District), Nguyen Thai Son overpass (Go Vap District)... are "haunting" intersections, all of which are always in a state of traffic congestion and jams during rush hour.
Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Street (from Hang Xanh intersection to Martyrs' Monument intersection) is only 1 km long but contains countless emotions of joy, anger, love, and hate of Saigon people every time it is mentioned. Especially during rush hour, thousands of people with all kinds of cars, buses, motorbikes... run together, everyone wants to pass, this only makes the road more congested.
Truong Chinh and Cong Hoa streets carry tens of thousands of vehicles every day. During rush hour, this vital road quickly becomes packed with people and vehicles, and people "breathe dust and smoke" every day.
During rush hour, the volume of vehicles pouring into the roundabout from Ba Thang Hai, Cach Mang Thang 8, Vo Thi Sau streets... The opposing and overlapping traffic directions make pedestrians feel like they are lost in a maze, creating a chaotic scene at the Democracy Square six-way intersection.
Every day at rush hour, thousands of vehicles pour from Pham Van Dong, Nguyen Kiem and Hoang Minh Giam streets to Nguyen Thai Son street, causing serious traffic jams at Nguyen Thai Son overpass to Mui Tau intersection (Pham Ngu Lao street, Go Vap district).
Fed up with the traffic jams and dust on Luong Dinh Cua Street towards An Phu intersection, Mr. Tran Thanh Thien (living in Thu Duc City) shared: "Usually, it only takes about 20 minutes to get home from District 1, but during rush hour, it takes more than an hour. This is a common situation, so I've gradually become accustomed to it. I just avoid any road that is congested."
