Despite having drunk alcohol, driver N still drove the car carrying 9 passengers on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay highway.
On March 5, Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 6 (Team 6, Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security) discovered a driver driving a passenger bus on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway with alcohol in his breath.
At around 9:30 a.m. the same day, Traffic Police Team 6 was on duty on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway (from Dong Nai to Ho Chi Minh City) when they discovered that the passenger bus with license plate 60F-001.75 driven by driver NMN (42 years old, residing in Thong Nhat district, Dong Nai) was acting suspiciously, so they asked to stop the vehicle for inspection.

Through inspection, the authorities discovered that driver N violated the level of 0.206 mg/l of breath.
Speaking to the police, driver N admitted to having consumed alcohol and beer before and was driving on the highway when he was discovered and processed. At the time of the inspection, there were 9 passengers in the car.
The police then issued a traffic violation ticket to driver N for driving on the road with a breath alcohol concentration not exceeding 0.25 mg/l of breath. At the same time, the driver's license and vehicle were temporarily seized and someone was arranged to take the 9 passengers on board to continue their journey.
A representative of Team 6 said that driver N was driving on the highway while his breath contained alcohol, which was very dangerous and posed a potential risk of causing traffic accidents for other cars.
