Despite having consumed alcohol, driver N continued to drive his vehicle carrying 9 passengers on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway.
On March 5th, Highway Traffic Control Team No. 6 (Team 6, Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security ) detected a bus driver operating on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway with alcohol in his breath.
At approximately 9:30 AM on the same day, traffic police officers from Team 6, while on duty on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway (heading from Dong Nai to Ho Chi Minh City), spotted a passenger bus with license plate 60F-001.75 driven by NMN (42 years old, residing in Thong Nhat district, Dong Nai province) showing suspicious signs, so they requested the vehicle to stop for inspection.

Upon inspection, authorities discovered that driver N had a blood alcohol level of 0.206 mg/l in his breath.
Speaking to the police, driver N admitted to having consumed alcohol beforehand and was driving on the highway when he was caught and apprehended. At the time of the inspection, there were 9 passengers in the vehicle.
Subsequently, the police issued a traffic violation report against driver N for driving under the influence of alcohol, but with a blood alcohol concentration not exceeding 0.25 mg/l. They also temporarily confiscated his driver's license and vehicle, and arranged for someone to escort the nine passengers to continue their journey.
A representative from Team 6 stated that driver N was operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol on the highway, posing a significant risk of traffic accidents for other vehicles.
