Sharing at the promotional event with the participation of a large audience, Ly Hai said he was very happy, joyful and grateful for the love that everyone had given to the entire crew.
“Because we only had a few days to change the showcase location and prepare and set up everything, the whole crew was very worried at first. But today, when we arrived here, we were all overwhelmed when we saw a large audience coming here from 5 pm. Thank you everyone for taking the time to come here with the “Flip Side 8” crew and sorry that everyone had to travel this far.”
According to Ly Hai, part 8 of “Lat mat” is mainly set in Binh Thuan, Ninh Thuan - a place with a lot of wind, sand and sunshine. In which, there are 3 big scenes that the male director devoted himself to, including the scene of a flood, a big concert (requiring an audience of thousands of people) and a wartime bombing scene (filmed in the Coconut Forest - Binh Thuan).

Regarding the film's message, Ly Hai said: "I believe that no matter what you do, where you are, who you are, how old you are, or in any situation, when you are happy, joyful, defeated, or disappointed in life, the most important thing is to share, a hug that can soothe, a strong shoulder, a warm embrace that will make you feel protected and loved." In this project, director Ly Hai and his wife - producer Minh Ha will also appear in a role in the film.
Quach Ngoc Tuyen (playing Uncle Nhan) revealed that while in the previous part he was only asked by the director to soak in water for 9 hours, in part 8, he had to soak in water for 28 hours. Meanwhile, Le Tuan Khang - a TikToker who participated in a movie for the first time was quite shy when appearing in public. When asked to introduce his character, he awkwardly said: "When the movie is released, everyone will see it in theaters and then know how I act, but now I don't dare to tell because I'm afraid of being... embarrassed."
Also at the program, Ly Hai "played big" by showing the trailer and behind-the-scenes of the film to the audience. In addition, he said he would keep his promise and organize the first early screening for 1,000 extras - those who participated in the concert scene in the film. At the end of the program, Ly Hai also called on thousands of spectators at the event to hug each other, creating a "Love Sunlight Arm" - like the name of the film. In addition, he and the cast also sang many hit songs for the audience.
