Ly Hai, former players play football and give gifts to students overcoming difficulties

On April 5, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) at Stadium 317, Hoc Mon District (HCMC), Director Ly Hai's True Love 308 Club coordinated with the People's Committee of Hoc Mon District to organize a football exchange to raise charity funds, and presented meaningful gifts to studious and disadvantaged students in the area.

This year’s program presented 30 bicycles to 30 disadvantaged students. In addition, there were 100 backpacks, 100 pairs of shoes and 2,000 notebooks to encourage the children’s learning spirit.

Chan Tinh 308 FC is a football team that gathers many artists, former players... Established in 2015, the team has been regularly maintaining charity activities. For nearly 10 years, this place has not only been a playground for round balls, but also a common home for kind hearts.

Director Ly Hai, despite being busy preparing for the release of "Lat Mat 8: Vong tay nang" on the occasion of April 30, still attended the charity event and confided: "Football to me is not only a burning passion, but also a thread connecting hearts. The trips with the True Love 308 Club always make my heart full of emotions. Every time I personally give a small gift, seeing the bright smiles on the children's faces, I feel warmed by a simple but profound happiness."

The event not only had the participation of director Ly Hai but also gathered a familiar cast of stars in the entertainment industry and Vietnamese football such as: singer Pham Truong, actor Quach Ngoc Tuyen... along with 2008 AFF Cup champion Doan Viet Cuong, former U23 player Hoang Danh Ngoc, Truong Huynh Phu...

Also accompanying the event were enthusiastic "bosses" for Ho Chi Minh City's grassroots football, such as boss Phuc Tran and Khang Linh of Phuc Khang FC, and boss Hanh of Chan Tinh 308.

They are the silent heroes, always standing behind to realize the team's meaningful community football activities.
