On the afternoon of April 22, the leader of Highway QLDB III (Vietnam Road Administration) said that after inspection, the unit agreed to allow vehicles to circulate on Highway 1 through Ca Pass from 6:00 p.m. on April 22.

This decision was made based on the opinions of the railway management unit, Project Management Board 85 (investor of the project to strengthen the railway tunnel through Ca Pass), the Department of Transport of Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa provinces, and the Traffic Police Department of Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa provinces, agreeing to allow vehicles to circulate on National Highway 1 through Ca Pass after the railway tunnel is repaired.
According to the leader of Highway QLDB III, previously, to ensure normal traffic on Highway 1 through Ca Pass, the unit had sent a document to relevant parties to coordinate and inspect and assess the safety status of the road through the area and the railway tunnel.

Road Management Offices III.3 and III.4 (units under Highway Management Area III) have also announced and requested management and maintenance units to regularly remove the road sign system installed on National Highway 1 to organize traffic flow.
It is known that after 9 days of handling the landslide incident at the railway tunnel through Ca Pass, the North-South railway (route Km1231+100 through Dai Lanh commune, Van Ninh district, Khanh Hoa province) was opened to traffic from the night of April 21.
