On October 27, flight A350-900 with code 2W8623 carrying 430 Czech tourists landed at Phu Quoc airport (Phu Quoc city, Kien Giang province).
Consecutive charter flights bring international visitors to Phu Quoc in the last week of October 2023
This is the first time Phu Quoc has welcomed a charter flight from the capital city of Prague (Czech Republic). It is expected that from now until April 2024, this route will continue to bring international visitors to the "pearl island" with a frequency of 1 flight/week.
According to the plan, these tourists will stay in Phu Quoc for 1 to 2 weeks to visit and explore the "World's Most Attractive Natural Island" voted by the World Travel Awards (WTA).
More than 1,000 international tourists arrived in Phu Quoc on charter flights last week.
Previously, 3 charter flights on October 23, 24 and 25 brought more than 600 tourists from Eastern Europe and Central Asia to Phu Quoc. Thus, in just the last week of October 2023, Phu Quoc welcomed more than 1,000 international visitors on charter flights after international flights to Phu Quoc were reconnected.
Phu Quoc is expected to welcome more international tourist groups in the last months of the year.
According to Phu Quoc International Airport, Phu Quoc airport currently has domestic flights including: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Can Tho, Da Nang, Cam Ranh (Khanh Hoa) and international flights including: Incheon (Korea) 14 flights/week; Bangkok (Thailand) 4 flights/week; Hong Kong (China) 3 flights/week, Pudong (Shanghai - China) 1 flight/week; Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) 4 flights/week; Almaty (Kazakhstan) 1 flight/week, Taraz (Kazakhstan) 2 flights/week; Prague Vaclav Havel (Czech Republic) 1 flight/week.
Phu Quoc is always on the list of voted most beautiful and attractive destinations in the world.
