Currently, some social insurance agencies have announced the schedule for pension and social insurance benefits payment in May 2025 in the area.

For example, in Ho Chi Minh City, for pension payments via personal accounts, Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance announced that it will transfer money to beneficiaries' accounts from May 5.

As for cash payment, Ho Chi Minh City Post Office will organize payment from May 7-10 at all payment points; from May 11 to May 25 at post offices of central/district post offices.

According to regulations, employees have the right to receive pensions and social insurance benefits "through the employee's deposit account opened at the bank". To ensure the best rights and benefits of beneficiaries, in recent times, Vietnam Social Security has focused on promoting payment methods through personal bank accounts, while flexibly implementing other forms such as direct cash payments at payment points; payments through employers; payments at home if the employee is elderly, lonely, sick, or ill and cannot go to the payment point...
