City Armed Forces: Giving free vegetables to people in difficult circumstances

The activity aims to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

The City Military Youth Union gives free vegetables to people in difficult circumstances.

The City Military Youth Union has distributed more than 370kg of fresh, clean vegetables such as water spinach and Malabar spinach to people in difficult circumstances.

The products are all grown and cared for by soldiers of the City Military Command to supplement the soldiers' meals.

With the emulation spirit of "The Military Logistics Sector follows Uncle Ho's teachings", on average, every month, the unit provides about 450kg of various vegetables to serve and improve the quality of meals for officers and soldiers; at the same time, it implements the model of "Military Clean Vegetables" to distribute for free to people in difficult circumstances on the occasion of responding to major holidays and events of the country. The model has been deployed since the beginning of 2025 and has been maintained until now.
