Nghia Hung district armed forces improve training quality and combat readiness

Entering the 2025 training season, right from the beginning of the year, the District Military Command (CHQS) has proactively advised the District Party Committee and the District People's Committee to issue directives, resolutions, and plans to lead and direct local defense and military work in general and training and combat readiness work in particular, closely following the characteristics of the local situation. Training preparation work has been seriously and comprehensively deployed in terms of training grounds, training grounds, training materials, lesson plans, teaching models, etc. All units have done a good job of training and fostering cadres before entering training, contributing to unifying content and methods and improving the quality of teaching and training command. In particular, the district's military closely follows the motto of "basic, practical, solid", taking practice as the main thing, training close to the task, close to the plan, close to the area, real conditions and combat objects. The "Determined to Win" emulation movement is closely linked to each content and target of training, combat readiness and unit building. The District Military Command effectively implemented the campaign "Management and exploitation of weapons and equipment that are good, durable, safe, economical and safe for traffic", promoting the "5 no, 3 best" movement in the district's military. Thereby creating positive changes in awareness and action among officers and soldiers, maintaining discipline, ensuring absolute safety in training, work and other activities. The 2024 inspection results showed that 100% of the subjects in the district's military were trained according to plan, of which over 76% achieved good and excellent results.

Along with training, the district military always strictly maintains the regime of combat readiness, command duty, shift duty, air defense duty, organizes training of combat readiness plans according to plan, and conducts defensive combat drills at commune and town levels in line with combat plans and actual situations in the locality. Thanks to that, the mobility, command organization, and emergency handling capabilities of the forces are enhanced, meeting the requirements of the tasks in the new situation.

Identifying the militia and self-defense force (MND) as one of the important components in the national defense posture, the District Military Command has directed communes and towns to perform well the work of selecting and training the militia and self-defense force, ensuring that the quotas and structures are correct and sufficient according to regulations. The content of the militia and self-defense force training is flexibly updated, closely following the local situation and tasks, focusing on training in regulations, infantry techniques and tactics, plans for protecting bases, preventing natural disasters, rescue, etc. The reserve force is reviewed, registered, and arranged into full-time units, in accordance with military professionalism, ensuring that when there is a mobilization order, it can be quickly mobilized, with sufficient numbers and quality. In 2024, the District Military Command directed the successful organization of defensive combat exercises for 3 communes, ensuring compliance with the plan, absolute safety of people and weapons and equipment. Through the exercise, the ability to coordinate among forces was improved, effectively operating the mechanism of Party leadership, government management, military agencies, police, and departments, branches, and organizations coordinating in handling national defense and security situations.

One of the highlights in the implementation of training and combat readiness tasks of the Nghia Hung District Military Command is the effective promotion of research movements and technical innovation initiatives to serve training and ensure the lives of soldiers. From the practical basis, many cadres have boldly proposed improved models and equipment suitable for actual training conditions, contributing to improving efficiency, saving time and effort. A typical example is the initiative "Smart danger warning device" by comrade Le Van Dong, Commander of the Nghia Hai Commune Military Command, which is capable of early detection of dangerous situations in training such as fire, explosion, foreign objects, mobile obstacles, etc. through wireless sensors and sound-light warning signals, contributing to improving the safety of people and vehicles during training outside the training ground. In addition, the initiative "Mobile food sample storage device" by comrade Vu Manh Ha, Commander of the Nghia Lac Commune Military Command, has brought practical results in the management of food samples for soldiers, especially in mobile conditions and field training. The device uses a specialized stainless steel sample storage box, capable of keeping cold for many hours, ensuring food hygiene and safety, helping unit commanders to inspect and monitor food samples conveniently and promptly. The above two initiatives were highly appreciated by the Council of the 2025 Training Tool Innovation and Improvement Competition of the Nam Dinh Provincial Military Command, winning the 2025 Provincial Military Command C prize. The District Military Command staff researched, designed and successfully tested the initiative "Remote control device to ignite explosive fuses". This device helps replace the manual burning of the fuse with a remote control method via radio signals, ensuring safety for the staff while improving accuracy and initiative in the training process of destructive and explosive content... especially suitable for training conditions of models, teaching aids combined with practice. The initiative is highly appreciated for its practical application and effectiveness in training and won the B prize at the Provincial Military Command level in 2025.

Entering the 2025 training season, the Nghia Hung District Military Command determined to continue focusing on improving the quality of training, combat readiness, and building a comprehensively strong district military command that is "exemplary and typical".
