In early April 2025, the Military Command of A Luoi district coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district and the Party Committee and government of A Roang commune to inaugurate and hand over a house of gratitude to the family of Mrs. Ho Thi Cam. Mrs. Cam is over 60 years old this year, living in A Chi village - Huong Son, a victim of Agent Orange/dioxin. For nearly 8 years, her husband has also been bedridden due to an accident, and their economic conditions are extremely difficult, so although the house is seriously degraded, it cannot be rebuilt.

After the locality surveyed and proposed, through the Military Command of A Luoi district and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district, Lieutenant General Pham Truong Son, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, mobilized funds to support her family with 80 million VND to build a house of gratitude. After a process of effort with the help of local soldiers and militia, the house was completed, ensuring 3 hard (hard foundation, hard wall, hard roof), and spacious.

On the day she moved into her new, spacious house, Ms. Ho Thi Cam shared: I am very happy and would like to express my deep gratitude to Lieutenant General Pham Truong Son, the District Military Command, and the local Party Committee and government for their support so that my family can have a new house. From now on, my family will no longer have to worry when the rainy season comes, because I have a sturdy house to take care of my husband and live in his old age.

In addition to households in difficult circumstances like Mrs. Ho Thi Cam, many military families also have the joy of receiving the army's attention and support in housing. Recently, the City Military Command donated funds to build "Comrades' Houses" to 3 military families in difficult circumstances with a total cost of 180 million VND on the day of the implementation of the plan to build "Comrades' Houses", "Houses of Gratitude", "Houses of Great Unity", contributing to joining hands with the XNT and NDN in the city in 2025.

In order to quickly complete the construction and repair of houses for the subjects, the City Military Command and the District Military Command focused on mobilizing all resources to raise funds for the project and the project. At the same time, mobilize the forces of the regular army and the militia to closely coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to join hands to quickly complete the construction and repair of houses for the people, especially focusing on supporting the workdays in dismantling, gathering materials and construction, ensuring the earliest completion under possible conditions.

According to the plan, in 2025, the City Military Command will direct agencies and units to coordinate with families to build 21 houses (with a list); including 3 "Comrades' Houses", 8 "Houses of Gratitude" and 10 "Houses of Great Unity" with a total support budget of 1.32 billion VND. In addition, the forces under the City Military Command will coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to build new, renovate and repair houses for 559 households of revolutionary contributors and relatives of martyrs with a total support budget of 23.85 billion VND and support for XNT, NDN for poor households, near-poor households, and families in special circumstances for 386 households with a total budget of about 13.98 billion VND.

The City Military Command assigned specific targets and requested agencies and units to actively advise, develop plans and implement them closely, seriously and effectively; the construction process ensures quality and is on schedule. The ultimate goal is to join hands with the entire city to complete the XNT and NDN plan before July 30, 2025 according to the plan of the City People's Committee.
