Implementing the direction of the Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army at the meeting on March 29 on sending forces to support the recovery of the earthquake disaster in Myanmar, the General Department of Logistics and Engineering urgently deployed a medical force of 30 doctors, nurses, and service staff to ensure participation in the mission. Among them, there is a disaster relief medical team of Military Hospital 103 (Military Medical Academy) with 16 comrades; a disaster relief medical team of Military Hospital 105 with 7 comrades and a resuscitation - emergency team of Military Hospital 354 with 7 comrades.

On the night of March 29, military medical equipment, medicine, and supplies were fully prepared according to the list of military medical teams and groups. The quantity was enough to ensure relief for 2 weeks, treating 50-100 victims/day. Logistical and technical equipment, such as: tents, generators; electrical and water appliances, cooking equipment, food and other logistical and technical materials were also urgently prepared on the morning of March 30.
Speaking at the task assignment for the military medical force before departure, on behalf of the leadership and command of the General Department of Logistics and Engineering, Major General Ha Nhu Loi wished the comrades, doctors, military medical staff, and logistics staff on their international mission good health and excellent completion of their assigned tasks. Following the direction of the Head of the Ministry of National Defense, agencies and units have urgently prepared to send forces, means and the international community to support Myanmar in overcoming the disaster. This is an extremely heavy task with many difficulties. The forces must operate independently, far from the command and direction of the unit; lack in all aspects; the task is arduous, demanding, must take advantage of every second, every minute and the weather is extremely harsh. Especially the difference in language is a great difficulty for the activities of admission, emergency, treatment... With the tradition and noble qualities of Uncle Ho's Army, the pure spirit of international solidarity, the medical officers and staff are ready to go on duty, with high determination; ready to receive and excellently complete the assigned tasks.
