The focus of the peak period is to continue to deploy and strictly implement the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety and Decree 168, maintaining people's habit of complying with road traffic laws. In particular, focusing on implementing 6 thematic groups: Group of violations of alcohol and drug concentrations; group of violations of extending vehicle bodies, transporting overloaded or oversized goods, transporting goods without properly securing them; group of violations of speed, not obeying traffic lights, driving in the wrong lane, going in the wrong direction, avoiding overtaking, not complying with regulations on giving way at road intersections; group of drivers driving in groups causing traffic obstruction, weaving, weaving... illegal racing, disturbing public order; group of drivers using phones, other electronic devices while driving and the installation and operation of journey monitoring devices, driver image recording devices; group of students violating traffic safety order.

On road routes, the traffic police force will focus on controlling violations of road transport activities, and will strictly handle the following acts: violations of alcohol and drug concentrations; speeding; improperly avoiding and overtaking; driving in the wrong part of the road or lane, weaving, swerving, illegal racing, and disturbing public order.
On railway lines, the traffic police force will proactively coordinate to organize inspections and handle violations that cause unsafe railway traffic, especially at level crossings, self-opened paths, and intersections between roads and railways to promptly advise and direct the work of ensuring traffic order and safety during the April 30 - May 1 holidays.
On waterways, traffic police will focus on controlling and handling violations of vehicle operations.
According to plan, the peak period will be implemented from the launch until May 20.
