LPBank plans to accompany Vietnamese football

LPBank will accompany Vietnamese sports to improve the stature and physical strength of players through many practical activities.

During the 5-day April 30 and May 1 holidays, LPBank was the gold sponsor for the series of events promoting the "Brazil - Vietnam Football and Tourism Festival" in Da Nang. The bank co-organized the friendly match between the Hanoi Police Club and the legendary Brazilian team at Hang Day Stadium, Hanoi.

According to LPBank representative, friendly matches show the physical and fitness limitations of Vietnamese players. This is a practical problem that domestic football always has to face when competing in international arenas. Therefore, the bank will accompany and coordinate with agencies to build a project to contribute to improving the physical strength and stature of players.

To implement this, LPBank will mobilize businesses, individuals, and philanthropists to contribute and join hands for the future of Vietnamese football, working with sponsors and clubs to support athletes from U9 and above to club-level players. If necessary, the unit will work with domestic pharmaceutical companies to create vitamins and nutrition to help increase the height and physical strength of players.

This project will research and improve nutrition and apply appropriate training regimens to help players improve their physical strength and physique. If the project is implemented, in 5-10 years there will be more players with good physical strength and physique, capable of competing internationally.

In addition, LPBank will work with the Vietnam Football Federation to sponsor and propose increasing the number of first-class teams from 12 to 16, increasing the number of second-class teams and considering organizing more tournaments or increasing the number of matches to a minimum of 40 matches per season. This is to help players have more opportunities to compete, practice, develop physical fitness and maintain physical fitness for players. With this project, the bank continues to demonstrate its responsibility to the community and wishes to contribute to the development of domestic sports.

LPBank is the main sponsor for the construction of the Truong Son Martyrs' Memorial Temple in Quang Binh with an amount of nearly VND 50 billion.

Education and training is the largest sector, accounting for the highest proportion of the total amount of money LPBank spends on social activities. To date, the bank and its shareholders have sponsored the construction of all or part of over 280 national standard schools, functional buildings, libraries, conference rooms, etc. serving the purpose of education and training nationwide. LPBank has founded and sponsored the activities of 12 funds for encouraging learning and talent and many large scholarship programs.

In the healthcare sector, LPBank and ThaiGroup support access to vaccines, sharing the burden with the government by contributing nearly VND 100 billion to purchase monoclonal antibody vaccines to prevent Covid-19 and nearly VND 250 billion to purchase test kits and many equipment, supporting activities to prevent epidemics in provinces and cities across the country.
