LPB plans to pay the highest cash dividend in the system

According to the document submitted to the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, Loc Phat Bank (LPBank) plans to pay cash dividends at a rate of 25%. Up to now, LPBank is the bank with the highest cash dividend rate in the market. This is also the first time LPBank has paid cash dividends in more than 7 years.

Loc Phat Bank ( LPBank ) announced the list and content of documents to be submitted to the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders. The meeting is scheduled to take place on April 27 in Ninh Binh City, Ninh Binh Province.

One of the notable contents presented at this year's congress is the plan to pay cash dividends at a rate of 25%. Corresponding to this rate, the amount of profit used to pay dividends is 7,468 billion VND.

Up to now, LPBank is the bank with the highest cash dividend rate in the market. This is also the first time LPBank has paid cash dividends in more than 7 years. The last time this bank paid cash dividends was in February 2018 with a rate of 10%.

LPB plans to pay the highest cash dividend in the system

2024 marks a year of strong acceleration for LPBank with impressive business results, demonstrating a breakthrough strategic vision and flexible adaptability in a challenging economic context. The bank's recently released audited consolidated financial report for 2024 not only shows growth in scale, but also stands out in terms of profitability and cost management, affirming its position in the group of banks with the largest total assets in the industry.

According to the recently announced consolidated financial statements for 2024, LPBank recorded the highest pre-tax profit in history, reaching VND 12,168 billion, an increase of 73% compared to 2023. LPBank's return on equity (ROE) reached 25.10%, and return on assets (ROA) reached 2.18%. This result not only exceeded the set targets but also put LPBank in the group of enterprises with profits of over VND 10,000 billion.

The total assets of this Bank at the end of 2024 reached over 508 trillion VND, an increase of 33% compared to the end of 2023. LPBank's financial picture in 2024 also recorded impressive credit growth. Outstanding credit as of December 31, 2024 reached 331,606 billion VND, an increase of more than 20% compared to the same period in 2023.

In 2024, LPBank also recorded many milestones in business activities thanks to the continued drastic and synchronous implementation of strategic projects such as digital banking, risk management, launching digital products for corporate customers and personal financial products focusing on the retail segment... Thanks to that, the Bank's capital mobilization in market 1 as of December 31, 2024 reached VND 338,662 billion, an increase of VND 53,319 billion compared to the previous year, equivalent to a growth of 18.69%.
