Also attending the ceremony were comrade Nguyen Dinh Vinh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee, representatives of leaders, departments and agencies of Da Nang City and Binh Dinh Province; and a delegation of comrade Nguyen Trac's family.
At the ceremony, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet presented a speech commemorating the 120th anniversary of the birth of comrade Nguyen Trac - former Deputy Secretary of the Central Party Committee, former Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee - a communist soldier, a loyal son of his homeland Quang Nam.
Opening his speech, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet said: Throughout the history of building and defending the country, Quang Nam has always been recognized as a land of "spiritual land and talented people". Harsh nature and a history of many hardships have forged the tradition of patriotism and the courageous character of the people of Quang.
On this land, “every era has its famous people, every region has its heroes with great ambitions” who have made many glorious contributions to the Fatherland and made their homeland proud. Comrade Nguyen Trac is one of those typical people.
Reviewing the glorious revolutionary life of comrade Nguyen Trac, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet affirmed: Eighty-two years old (1904 - 1986), 56 years of Party membership (1930 - 1986), 51 years (1928 - 1979) of continuous, heroic and enthusiastic activities, comrade Nguyen Trac devoted everything to the glorious revolutionary cause of our Party and nation.
The history of the Vietnamese revolution will forever remember the great contributions of Comrade Nguyen Trac - a loyal son of Quang Nam; a devoted and fair cadre; a loyal and loyal communist. On the occasion of the 120th anniversary of Comrade Nguyen Trac's birth, we are extremely proud, respectful and grateful to this outstanding son of the nation and of Quang Nam. We understand and remember the extremely valuable revolutionary lessons for the current cause of building and developing our homeland and country.
According to Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, the 120th anniversary of the birth of Comrade Nguyen Trac (1904 - 2024) took place in an atmosphere where the entire Party, people and army were actively implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the 22nd Quang Nam Provincial Party Congress and resolutions, directives, conclusions and regulations on Party building and rectification, and building the political system; associated with the implementation of Conclusion No. 01 of the 13th Politburo on continuing to promote studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Chinh - son of comrade Nguyen Trac, on behalf of his family, expressed his gratitude, emotion and deep impression of the activities organized by Quang Nam province to celebrate the 120th anniversary of comrade Nguyen Trac's birth.

During his lifetime, he was always proud to be a son of Quang. It was the strong development of the revolutionary movement in his hometown that gave him the will and determination to overcome many hardships and challenges, completing the tasks in certain historical periods that his homeland and country assigned to him" - Mr. Nguyen Chinh said.
Comrade Nguyen Trac, alias Thieu, was born on November 4, 1904, in Ha Thanh village, Ha Nong commune, Dien Ban district, now Ha Tay village, Dien Hoa commune, Dien Ban town, Quang Nam province. His father was Nguyen Chuan, his mother was Tran Thi Can.
Born and raised in a homeland rich in patriotic traditions, comrade Nguyen Trac left his family early to participate in revolutionary activities.
During his work, at the end of 1937, he was honored to be elected Deputy Secretary of the Central Region Party Committee, concurrently Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee in charge of the provinces from Da Nang onwards.
During his time as the interim Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, under the direct guidance of the Regional Party Committee, comrade Nguyen Trac and the Provincial Party Committee led many struggles, attracting the participation of many classes of people...
For his contributions, he was awarded the Ho Chi Minh Medal; the First Class Independence Medal; the 40-year Party membership badge and many other noble awards. On March 29, 2013, the President posthumously awarded the Gold Star Medal to Comrade Nguyen Trac.
