I'm sorry is a composition by musician Pabaki with Vietnamese lyrics written by Lam Bao Ngoc and a friend. The author wrote this song as an apology to his lover who passed away during the Covid-19 outbreak.

The song describes the passionate love and memories the two had. One day, the Korean musician accidentally saw an item fall out of his ex-lover's backpack, and suddenly said: "Baby I'm sorry, I forgot you."

While listening to the sample recording, Lam Bao Ngoc cried many times, sympathizing with the song. When writing the Vietnamese lyrics, she added her own story.

"If you fall in love, get married and live a full life with the first person, that is extremely lucky. I am not like that, I have experienced many unfulfilled love affairs, and have been in heartbreaking pain. That is what I tell very honestly in the Vietnamese lyrics," the singer said.

The working process with Pabaki went smoothly even though Lam Bao Ngoc did not know Korean and the Korean musician was not fluent in English, mainly communicating through Google Translate.

The MV's setting is based on the idea of infinite space. The male lead of the MV is the handsome choreographer Dang Quan.

Lam Bao Ngoc compares music to infinite spaces - where people can be honest with themselves instead of forcing themselves, acting strong and hiding their true feelings in the outside world.

The singer added that alternating between happy and sad scenes and regretful scenes was difficult for non-professional actors like him.
