Appeal of the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee on mobilizing support for the Fund "For the Poor" in 2024

On October 3, Comrade Le Van Binh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee sent an appeal to agencies, businesses, organizations, individuals, cadres, soldiers and all people in the province to mobilize support for the "For the Poor" Fund in 2024.

Promoting the tradition of solidarity, humanity, love, sharing and mutual support of the nation; in recent times, agencies, units, organizations, individuals, businesses, armed forces and people inside and outside the province have actively responded to support and help the poor through the emulation movement "For the poor - leaving no one behind". From the "For the poor" Fund at all levels, thousands of poor households have been supported to escape poverty and stabilize their lives.

However, currently, the rate of poor and near-poor households in Ninh Thuan province is still quite high compared to the national average; of which, there are more than 1,600 households facing housing difficulties, living in makeshift, degraded, damaged houses and facing many difficulties in life. They are in great need of sympathy, sharing and noble gestures from the community to promptly help them reduce their difficulties and rise out of poverty sustainably.

On the occasion of the peak month "For the poor" from October 17, 2024 to November 18, 2024, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in coordination with the Provincial People's Committee called on organizations, individuals, businesses, armed forces and people to continue to participate in supporting the "For the poor" Fund in 2024 to have more resources to care for the poor in the province, striving to build 500 houses for poor and near-poor households by the end of 2024 (according to Project 384) and by 2025, basically eliminate temporary, damaged and degraded houses for the poor and near-poor in Ninh Thuan province.

The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee sincerely acknowledges the kindness and noble gestures of the People, cadres, soldiers, organizations, agencies, businesses, and philanthropists inside and outside the province supporting the Fund "For the Poor" in 2024.
