Ukraine detected and intercepted all Russian UAVs targeting the central and southern regions, but allowed cruise missiles that attacked the Dnipro province to slip through.
"Russian Tu-95MS strategic bombers launched four Kh-101/555 cruise missiles from the Caspian Sea into Ukraine early this morning. One was intercepted, and the others struck industrial targets in the central Dnipro province," the Ukrainian Air Force Command said in a statement today.
Oleksandr Vilkul, mayor of Kryvyi Rih city in Dnipro province, said that two industrial facilities "unrelated to the military" were hit by missiles, injuring one person. "The level of destruction is significant," he said.

The Ukrainian army also claimed to have shot down all 20 Shahed-type suicide drones deployed by Russia to attack areas in central and southern Ukraine. Eighteen of these drones targeted the port city of Odessa in southern Ukraine.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has not commented on the information.
Russia is conducting continuous airstrikes to hinder Ukraine's counter-offensive and deplete its anti-aircraft ammunition, forcing it to constantly fire expensive missiles to counter cheaper missiles and UAVs.

Last month, Vadym Skibitsky, deputy head of Ukraine's Defense Intelligence Directorate, stated that Russia was focusing its attacks on strongholds and ammunition depots to disrupt counterattacks, rather than attempting to destroy energy infrastructure as it had previously done.
