According to legend, women who lack milk to feed their children prepare offerings and bring them to the well to pray. After that, the mother picks branches of milk flowers from the well, hangs them on both ends of a shoulder pole, and then brings them home to hang in her room. In any house that does this, the mothers will have plenty of milk to feed their children. |
