Worried that teachers will lose their bonus regime, Dak Lak continuously issues directive documents

(Dan Tri) - In response to the fact that some departments, branches and localities in Dak Lak have not yet issued bonus regulations according to Decree 73, the Dak Lak Department of Home Affairs has issued a document urging units to implement it soon.

On January 14, Mr. Bach Van Manh, Director of Dak Lak Department of Home Affairs, signed an official dispatch urging the implementation of the bonus regime according to Decree 73 of the Government.

According to the Dak Lak Department of Home Affairs, Decree 73 issued on June 30, 2024 by the Government stipulates the basic salary and bonus regime for cadres, civil servants, public employees and armed forces.

In which, it clearly states that the bonus regime is used for extraordinary rewards based on work performance and annual rewards based on the results of evaluation and classification of the level of work completion of each salaried person in the agency or unit.

Rewards for heads of armed forces units, heads of competent management agencies or those delegated with authority to manage cadres, civil servants and heads of public service units are responsible for developing specific regulations to implement the bonus regime.

Dak Lak Department of Home Affairs said that on December 4, 2024, Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee issued an official dispatch directing departments, branches and units to implement the bonus regime.

By December 20, 2024, the People's Committee of Dak Lak province has decided to authorize the issuance of bonus regulations to authorize heads of agencies, units, and local leaders to issue bonus regulations for civil servants and employees under their management authority.

Therefore, the Department of Home Affairs requests that agencies, units and localities urgently implement the issuance of Bonus Regulations according to their prescribed authority and report the implementation results to the Department of Home Affairs before January 20.

Decree 73 stipulates that by January 31 of the following year, if an agency or unit has not used up the year's bonus fund, it cannot transfer the source to the following year's bonus fund.

Because the deadline for receiving the 2024 bonus is only more than 10 days (deadline January 31), however, in Dak Lak, only a few localities have issued bonus regulations such as Buon Ma Thuot city (more than 20 billion VND), Ea H'leo district (more than 11 billion VND), Krong Nang district (more than 8 billion VND).

The fact that some departments, sectors and localities have not yet issued bonus regulations has made workers worried. Typically, teachers in Dak Lak expressed concern when the deadline for receiving bonuses is almost over, but the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training has not yet announced any bonuses.

Meanwhile, the Dak Nong Department of Education and Training has been paying bonuses to officials and teachers of 35 affiliated units with a budget of about 8.5 billion VND.
