On the evening of December 6, the VinFuture Global Science and Technology Awards 2024 officially took place at the Hoan Kiem Theater, Hanoi. The event honored breakthrough scientific and technological works from nearly 1,500 nominations from more than 80 countries.
In addition to the presence of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son, and many leaders, the appearance of billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong and his two sons was a highlight attracting the media.
This is the first time that Pham Nhat Vuong's two sons - Pham Nhat Quan Anh (born in 1993) and Pham Nhat Minh Hoang (born in 2000) - have publicly appeared with their father at the VinFuture Awards ceremony. This moment is considered rare and powerful, highlighting the companionship of the younger generation in the business career of Vingroup.
Pham Nhat Quan Anh, Mr. Vuong's eldest son, has appeared in public since the end of 2023 as Deputy General Director of VinFast Production Division.
He attracted attention when he appeared at the signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement with Marubeni Corporation on reusing electric vehicle batteries, an important step towards the circular economy. Previously, Quan Anh was taken by his father to meet with partners to learn from their experiences since 2019.
Meanwhile, Pham Nhat Minh Hoang, the second son, maintains a more private lifestyle.
Minh Hoang first appeared when welcoming the President of Bulgaria at the VinFast Hai Phong factory. Although he does not hold a position on Vingroup's board of directors, Minh Hoang plays many important roles in VinFast's global marketing campaigns, contributing to its success in international markets.
Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong has three children: Pham Nhat Quan Anh, Pham Nhat Minh Hoang and Pham Nhat Minh Anh. In an interview, he once expressed that he does not force his children to take over his career. According to him, maintaining the achievements that Vingroup has worked hard to build is the most important thing, and his children will pursue fields that suit their abilities and passions.
