According to China's state television channel (CCTV), a landslide occurred in Sichuan province, southwest of the country, killing 14 people and leaving 5 missing.

The landslide occurred early on the morning of June 4 in a mountainous area near Leshan city, southern Sichuan province.
More than 180 rescue workers have been dispatched to the scene of the landslide. According to CCTV, authorities are still actively carrying out search and rescue operations.
The landslide occurred after two days of heavy rain in Leshan city.
