When can Liverpool win the Premier League?

The 2024/25 Premier League title is unlikely to escape Liverpool's hands.

In the 34th round of the Premier League taking place in the middle and the end of this week, Liverpool will have their next match against Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield on the evening of April 27. Their rival in the championship race, Arsenal, will play earlier when they welcome Crystal Palace in the early morning of April 24.

The Gunners could even help Liverpool win the title right after their match against Crystal Palace. If Arsenal lose to Palace at Emirates Stadium in round 34, Liverpool will become the 2024/25 Premier League champions without having to play any more matches.

If Arsenal beat Crystal Palace, they will close the gap to Liverpool to 10 points, but with a game in hand. If Arsenal draw with Palace, Liverpool will still not be champions as the gap is 12 points, and Arsenal can still pick up another 12 points between now and the end of the season.

However, if the Gunners draw with Palace, Liverpool will be considered to have one more hand on the championship. If Arsenal draws with Palace, Liverpool only needs a draw against Tottenham to officially win the championship.

If Liverpool win the title before or immediately after the Tottenham game, they could receive a standing ovation from Chelsea players at Stamford Bridge during the match on 4 May.

In addition, Liverpool can also win the championship when the two teams meet at Anfield in round 36. However, Liverpool will only receive the official trophy after the final home match against Crystal Palace on May 25.
