Through the investigation of robbery cases, Ho Chi Minh City Police arrested the perpetrators. In addition, patrol teams 363 arrested many criminals, searched and seized guns, ammunition, and marijuana.
On June 21, Binh Tan District Police (HCMC) are detaining Huynh Thanh Phu (born in 2003, residing in Binh Thuan province) and Tran Duc Anh Nang (born in 1994, residing in Binh Tan district) to investigate the acts of storing weapons and growing marijuana.
Earlier, on the morning of June 20, Task Force 363 of Binh Tan District Police was patrolling the area when they discovered Phu acting suspiciously. Upon inspection, the police found images of marijuana cultivation on Phu's phone.

When checking Phu’s residence in Binh Hung Hoa B ward, the police discovered a bag containing a pistol and 23 bullets in the kitchen drawer. On the second floor, the police discovered Nang and 30 marijuana plants. Phu said he bought the gun online for 1.1 million VND; Nang said he bought the marijuana seeds for 4.5 million VND.

Also on June 21, the Criminal Police Department (PC02), Ho Chi Minh City Police and Binh Chanh District Police arrested Nguyen Hoang Phuc (born in 1995, residing in Binh Chanh District) to investigate the act of "Robbery".
Previously, on June 16, the police received a report from V. that a person riding a motorbike wearing technology clothes had robbed her cell phone while she was traveling in Vinh Loc A commune, Binh Chanh district.
During the investigation, the police identified Phuc as a suspect and invited him to the police station for questioning. Phuc had two previous convictions for “Robbery”.
In another case, on the afternoon of June 13, Huynh Khai Minh (born in 2005, residing in Tan Phu district) was riding his motorbike on Vinh Vien street, district 10, when he met Do Quoc K. (born in 2008, residing in district 10). At this time, K. was revving his motorbike, so Minh overtook him and asked what K. wanted, then K turned into an alley and drove away.
That same evening, Minh was told by Le Minh Quan about the incident when K. turned into the alley to get a knife and intended to chase and beat Minh. Angry, Minh invited his accomplices to apartment 312 Lac Long Quan street, ward 5, district 11 to talk to K. There, Minh invited K. to fight one-on-one, but K. did not agree and asked Minh to call more people to fight.

At 2:00 a.m. on June 14, Minh's group gathered at a coffee shop on Hong Lac Street, Ward 10, Tan Binh District, then called K. to arrange a fight, but K. did not show up. At this time, Minh led the group to apartment building 312 Lac Long Quan Street to find and beat K.
Upon arrival, Minh's group saw K.'s group sitting and drinking coffee, so they chased and beat them with homemade knives. The group also smashed the plastic tables of the coffee shop. The incident left K. and Chau Duy T. (born in 1992, residing in District 5) seriously injured by the group. After committing the crime, the group got in a car and escaped.
At the same time, the 363 task force of the Ho Chi Minh City Police was patrolling the Tan Hoa canal in Tan Phu district and discovered An, Quan, and Tai holding a homemade knife, so they brought them to the headquarters. After taking statements, the task force handed over the group and the evidence to the District 11 Police for handling. Afterwards, the police summoned Minh's group for questioning; some others, knowing they could not escape, turned themselves in and confessed to their crimes.
