Binh Phuoc Cooperative Alliance summarizes emulation and coordination program

Through the emulation agreement, cooperatives in the province are divided into 5 blocks. In 2024, 32 new cooperatives will be established in the province and 3 cooperatives will be dissolved. By December 31, 2024, the whole province will have 352 cooperatives and 1 cooperative union, an increase of 29 cooperatives compared to 2023, of which 253 cooperatives are operating.

Linking production and business with patriotic emulation

Of the 253 cooperatives currently operating, there are 120 member cooperatives. Cooperatives are increasingly receiving attention and support from Party committees and authorities at all levels. As a result, the criteria are closely aligned with the actual production and business activities, competing with the practical conditions of cooperatives to create motivation and encourage units to enthusiastically produce and do business in conjunction with patriotic emulation movements. Among them, there are cooperatives that are very active, spreading the spirit of emulation. The most typical in agricultural sector 1 is Dong Xanh Organic Agricultural Cooperative; agricultural sector 2 is Loc Quang Organic Pepper Cooperative and Bu Dop Pure Coffee Cooperative. In the emulation sector in the field of people's credit funds, a typical one is Phuoc Binh People's Credit Fund; in the emulation sector in the general field, the outstanding one is Bom Bo Binh Phuoc Agricultural - Forestry - Trade - Service Production Cooperative.

Cooperatives and people's credit funds with outstanding achievements in the emulation bloc of the Provincial Cooperative Union were commended and rewarded at all levels.

Ranking results in 2024, in the emulation block on the agricultural sector 1, the first place belongs to Tan Phuoc Agricultural Production Cooperative, the second place is Bu Gia Map Agricultural Cooperative. In the emulation block on the agricultural sector 2, the first place belongs to Loc Quang Organic Pepper Cooperative, the second place is Bu Dop Pure Coffee Cooperative. In the emulation block on the people's credit fund sector, the first place belongs to Phuoc Binh People's Credit Fund and the second place is Bu Dang People's Credit Fund. In the emulation block on the general sector, the first place belongs to Bom Bo Binh Phuoc Agricultural - Forestry - Trade - Service Production Cooperative.

At the conference, cooperatives shared their experiences in building and developing cooperatives and people's credit funds. The provincial Cooperative Union analyzed the remaining limitations and shortcomings; proposed, recommended and proposed many tasks and solutions in 2025. The focus is on advising the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and coordinating with departments, branches, sectors and organizations on developing cooperative economy, with cooperatives as the core; propaganda and mobilization work for the development of cooperatives, cooperative unions and member development; consulting and supporting the development of collective economy and cooperatives; representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of members...

Many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the Provincial Cooperative Emulation Bloc in 2024 were commended and rewarded by all levels. The conference also organized the signing of the emulation covenant in 2025.

Many outstanding results from the cooperation program

Also on the afternoon of April 23, the Binh Phuoc Provincial Cooperative Union held a conference to summarize the coordination program between the Provincial Cooperative Union and the Cooperative Unions of the following provinces: An Giang, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Binh Thuan, Tra Vinh, Dak Nong, Lam Dong.

On the sidelines of the conference, delegates visited the exhibition and introduced products of cooperatives inside and outside the province.

Implementing the coordination program, the Binh Phuoc Provincial Cooperative Union and the provincial Cooperative Unions have actively led, directed the implementation and execution to concretize the contents of the signed coordination agreement. From the signed and coordinated program, conditions have been created for a number of provincial cooperatives to exchange, interact, study and learn from the model; connect and trade specialty products of the provinces with Binh Phuoc and vice versa; share experiences in leadership, management and operation of the organizational apparatus; coordinate to mobilize, support visits and give gifts to a number of poor members of cooperatives.

The development of the coordination program focused on the strengths and similarities between the provincial Cooperative Unions in terms of products and markets; focused on selecting cooperatives and key local specialty products for promotion and introduction; and prioritized and allocated appropriate resources to support cooperatives in participating in conferences and seminars.
