On the evening of April 14, the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army held the closing ceremony of the 10th 2024 Mass Arts Festival of the Armed Forces, Youth and Students, Region 1 - Ho Chi Minh City, at the Southern Military Theater.
Participating in this mass art festival are 24 mass art troupes, bringing 151 performances (each mass art troupe has all kinds of music, dance, and theater) closely following the theme "80 years of the heroic song forever echoing".
Singer Ta Minh Tam - former deputy director of the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, member of the jury - commented that the festival demonstrated a high level of professionalism, the competition programs were elaborately staged, attracting viewers.
The mass art troupes performed with all their hearts.
The Organizing Committee awarded the General Department of Politics' flag to 16 excellent programs, and certificates of merit from the Director of the General Department of Politics to 7 good quality programs.
In addition, the organizing committee also awarded certificates of merit from the Director of the General Department of Politics to 64 performances that won A prizes and 70 performances that won B prizes.
Awarding certificates of merit from the Director of the General Department of Politics to 25 thematic awards including: 17 awards for excellent actors; 1 award for excellent orchestra; 4 excellent works on the theme of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; 2 excellent works on the theme of seas and islands; 1 excellent work on international solidarity.

Mr. Trinh Van Quyet - Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics, Head of the Steering Committee of the 10th Mass Arts Festival of the Armed Forces, Youth and Students in 2024 - said that the festival is a unique cultural and artistic event with political significance, converging and promoting the national cultural identity and revolutionary cultural and artistic traditions of Vietnam in the new period.
The creative innovation and breakthrough in style, staging and performance methods, through artistic images and messages distilled from the vivid real life of cadres, soldiers, youth and students, have created a strong vitality, deep emotions, and have been warmly welcomed and loved by the audience.
