The 6th Lai Chau Festival of Then singing, Tinh lute and Thai Xoe art in 2024

With the theme "Then singing, Tinh lute and Thai Xoe art of Lai Chau - shining quintessence", the art activities taking place at the Festival have the content of praising the love for homeland, country, people, the beauty in religious life imbued with unique cultural identity, through the form of Then singing, Tinh lute, Then dance and Thai Xoe art of Thai ethnic people.

Participants are artists and mass art figures living, studying and working in Lai Chau province. Each district and city establishes a participating troupe, with no more than 30 actors per troupe. Each troupe performs a program with all genres of Then singing, Tinh lute, Then dance and Thai Xoe art of the Thai ethnic group and performs continuously in order of drawing lots.

The 6th Lai Chau Then singing, Tinh lute and Thai Xoe art festival in 2024 is organized to practically celebrate the major holidays of the country and the province in 2024, and at the same time encourage people in the province to strengthen the strength of great national unity.

The festival is also an opportunity for artisans and mass actors in Lai Chau province to meet, exchange, learn and share experiences; at the same time, it contributes to enhancing the honor, promotion, preservation, inheritance and development of the Then singing practice heritage of the Tay, Nung, Thai people and the Thai Xoe art recognized by UNESCO as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity.

At the same time, contributing to effectively implementing the contents of Project 6 on "Preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural identities of ethnic groups associated with tourism development", thereby enhancing education on patriotic traditions, consolidating the great national unity bloc, encouraging the community to participate in preserving unique traditional cultural values, preventing the risk of losing the cultural beauty of ethnic minorities, promoting socio -economic development in Lai Chau./.
