The 2024 International Food Festival will take place from December 7-8 in Van Phuc, Hanoi.

On the morning of November 21, in Hanoi, the Department of Diplomatic Services, Ministry of Foreign Affairs met with the press to inform about the 2024 International Food Festival Program.

Accordingly, the 2024 International Food Festival, organized by the Diplomatic Corps Services Department in coordination with the State Protocol Department, the Information and Press Department, the World and Vietnam Newspaper and agencies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will take place over two days from December 7-8, at the Diplomatic Corps Area, 298 Kim Ma, Van Phuc, Ba Dinh, Hanoi.

The International Food Festival is one of the annual events to promote cultural and culinary exchanges, with the increasing response and participation of embassies, foreign cultural centers, foreign affairs departments representing provinces and cities, businesses and units in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Mr. Hoang Thai Ha, Chairman of the Trade Union of the Diplomatic Service Department, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee, said that this year, the International Food Festival with the theme "Gastronomy of Unity - Connecting Cuisine" has the participation of more than 40 foreign representative agencies, international organizations, cultural centers, foreign affairs departments of provinces and cities and businesses, with more than 130 booths.

Different from previous years, the 2024 International Food Festival is not only a place to introduce Vietnam's unique dishes but also brings a unique culinary experience journey with more than 70 international food stalls from about 60 countries and territories, with elaborate food performances, exciting and vibrant activities of the Beer Festival, game activities to receive gifts from sponsors and countless unique experiences such as: Culinary Passport, Cuisine on 1 plate, Five Continents Kitchen....

Another new point is that in addition to the area for international friends to introduce their culinary specialties, there are also typical regional cuisines of the 3 regions: North, Central, South... including famous dishes such as: Nam Dinh Pho, traditional spring rolls, rolled pho, fried pho Hanoi, 3-region bread, typical spices... Through that, the Organizing Committee hopes to convey the message about the diversity of Vietnamese cuisine to international friends.

Mr. Ha affirmed that the 2024 International Food Festival is a meeting place to honor quintessential flavors and affirm the connecting power of cuisine; at the same time, it is an opportunity for tourists and people to visit, learn and enjoy the culinary flavors associated with the cultures of participating countries.

The organizers expect to welcome 30,000 guests and take place over 2 days to meet the needs of visitors. In particular, the time frame from 8:00 to 12:00 on December 8 will be the main event time, the organizers will prioritize welcoming guests.

This year's 2024 International Food Festival also has a very large and active contribution from Masan Consumer Joint Stock Company (Masan Consumer), the main sponsor of the program, which will bring famous brands Chinsu and Nam Ngu. In addition, the program is also accompanied by sponsors such as Hanoi Beer - Alcohol - Beverage Corporation (Habeco), Bluezone Pure Water Bank, Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (Vietinbank) ...

The 2024 International Food Festival promises to be an unmissable event during the year-end festival season, where visitors can explore the world through each dish and feel the power of cuisine in connecting cultures between countries.
