Although not in top form yet, the 1.93 m tall "garden crane" Tran Thi Thanh Thuy is still a prominent name, scoring 22 points for VTV Binh Dien Long An Club in the team's victory in the opening match against Thai Binh Club. "I have recovered from injury and am trying to regain my form and fitness. I will continue to improve these issues in the matches at the 2025 National Volleyball Championship," said Thanh Thuy.
At 5:30 p.m. today, Thanh Thuy and VTV Binh Dien Long An Club will face Thanh Hoa Club in the second match of the first phase of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship. In the opening match, Thanh Hoa lost 0-3 to the Information Corps team. 27-year-old hitter Tran Thi Thanh Thuy is expected to continue to shine to bring joy to fans of the team from Long An. She is one of the few Vietnamese volleyball athletes to compete with a large number of fans cheering her on.
Also today, there will be an exciting match between the Industrial and Commercial Bank Club and the Information Corps at 12 o'clock. In the men's tournament, there will also be a second round of matches between Sanest Khanh Hoa and Hanoi (14:30) and Da Nang and Border Guard (20:00).
