Lenovo, Google and Intel promote digital transformation of education in Dong Nai

This is the third pilot project that Lenovo has collaborated with Google for Education, following two successful pilot projects at Vinschool Golden River (HCMC) and Doan Thi Diem Secondary School (Can Tho). This project will deploy the donation of 60 Lenovo 500e Chromebook Gen 3 (Intel) devices, specially designed for 8 classes of grade 6 and 10 teachers in charge of 8 subjects of the school.

The collaborative efforts of Lenovo, Google for Education Vietnam and technology partners, including Intel, demonstrate a shared dedication to revolutionizing the digital transformation of the education sector.

This pilot project is being implemented under the direction of the Dong Nai Province Digital Transformation Advisory Council with the collaboration of many departments and agencies. The project at Tran Hung Dao Secondary School will help promote the digital transformation process of the province's education sector by exploiting the outstanding benefits of Google's educational solutions in the community.

The Dong Nai Department of Education and Training, in collaboration with a research team from Saigon University, will evaluate the experience of teachers and students using Chromebooks and Google tools. In addition, AI Education and Bard Academy (Google's artificial intelligence academy) will provide "digital teacher" training programs to equip them with the mindset, knowledge and skills to apply digital tools including artificial intelligence to enhance the teaching and learning experience with the "digital school" model.

Teaching and learning on Chromebooks will be supported by the Chrome Education Upgrade operating system, along with Google Workspace for Education tools such as Google Classroom and Google Meet. All training programs and software used are approved by the Department of Education and Training and the School Board .

The collaborative efforts of Lenovo, Google for Education Vietnam and technology partners, including Intel, demonstrate a shared dedication to revolutionizing the digital transformation of education. The alliance aims to enhance students’ digital knowledge and skills, while providing essential resources for effective teaching. This initiative is also in line with the national digital transformation vision by 2030.
