Last weekend, singer Uyen Linh and her colleague Quoc Thien performed in Phan Thiet. While the couple was singing, an incident occurred when a late audience member had no seat.

Because he was so upset, this person took singer Quoc Thien's microphone to complain about the organization of the program. Singer Quoc Thien quickly spoke up to ask the organizers to arrange and support that guest. At this time, Uyen Linh shared on the microphone: "The atmosphere is fun, why change it?" .

The whole story is not clear, but when the clip was posted, many netizens expressed their discomfort with Uyen Linh's statement because they thought she was disrespectful to the audience.

The audience expressed their anger when Uyen Linh and Quoc Thien were standing on stage.

Regarding the incident, Uyen Linh posted 2 comments on her personal page to explain. In the first comment, the female singer had a rather unpleasant attitude towards netizens' comments about the saying "The atmosphere is happy, why change it?".

Uyen Linh wrote: "Sending a general answer to those who wonder "The atmosphere is happy, why change it": The right and wrong of an event must be carefully considered before being said. Every story should be heard from both sides, don't rush to judge. That is the behavior of a cultured adult with signs of being well-educated. For those who are too young compared to me, I just sympathize, smile and let it go, don't care. That's it."

This comment quickly received a series of angry expressions and negative comments from netizens. Immediately after, Uyen Linh continued to have a longer comment, explaining the incident in detail.

The singer said that because it was raining heavily that night, some of the audience members who arrived early took the VIP seats of the latecomer without permission. She emphasized that to resolve this issue, it would take time and verification of information from both sides: "For example, if it was an elderly person who had already sat in the seats, it would take some time to arrange with them, not just 30 seconds.

As someone who has experienced some setbacks, Linh knows that when hearing something, one should listen to both sides. As soon as she heard the customer's explanation, Linh could not immediately blame the Organizing Committee when she did not know if the Organizing Committee had promptly checked the ticket he had in hand, what had been exchanged...

Linh's point when emphasizing listening to both sides of the story and considering it before coming to a conclusion is like that. The clip you saw online is a cut-out, which may make listeners uncomfortable, and Linh is very sorry about that."

"Linh feels responsible for soothing the emotions of those who are dragged into a story that has nothing to do with them."

Next, Uyen Linh affirmed that she is always grateful and respectful of the audience, but that does not mean she has to accept everything the audience does as right:

"Linh's gratitude and respect for the audience is shown through the way she performs seriously, bringing joy to you, which is different from being ready to acknowledge that whatever the audience does or says is naturally right. When an audience member complains, they bring change and progress to the crew, from which the majority of other audiences and customers benefit.

However, in a show, specifically last night, there were hundreds of other audience members. They also have their own feelings and Linh feels responsible for soothing the feelings of those who are dragged into a story that has nothing to do with them."

The female singer also said that her statement "The atmosphere is happy, why change it" was meant to "lighten up the mood" and not to cause annoyance: "Linh could only ease the tense atmosphere - after Quoc Thien said "request the organizers to resolve it" - by joking to lighten up, not intending to tease the other customer."

Uyen Linh confirmed that she then calmed down the audience member right on the microphone, but because the clip was cut, people misunderstood the incident: " Linh spoke into the microphone, telling the other customer: I hope you'll calm down, later if you want to hear a song, Uyen Linh will sing it for you. I also hope that things will temporarily calm down, so that the concert can continue. There are still many audience members there, witnessing and knowing this."

Finally, the female singer emphasized that she did not defend the program's organizers, and even suggested stopping cooperation if the organizers did not improve the quality of service to the audience in the following programs:

"It's understandable that the customer was so upset that he went on stage to speak in front of hundreds of other people in the audience. But Linh believes that many of us would have handled it differently.

Of course, how to handle the situation is a matter of personal choice and freedom. I just hope to affect the rest of the people as little as possible. As for Linh, she did not side with May Lang Thang. After the show, the crew had a meeting and learned from the experience.

Linh also gave her opinion: If this issue is not thoroughly resolved to relieve customers' frustration, Linh would like to temporarily suspend some upcoming shows with this unit. That is all Linh can do to protect the interests of her customers and audience."

"Finally, Linh would like to acknowledge all of your good-intentioned comments and review herself. Except for those individuals who spoke impolitely, Linh apologizes, Linh has enough self-respect to say that no one has the right to degrade others with hateful words, pretending to be in love and speaking excessively. Linh has presented enough, thank you everyone for reading this far and Linh asks permission not to comment further," Uyen Linh added.

"Linh would like to acknowledge all your goodwill comments and review herself."

However, both of Uyen Linh's comments made the audience even more indignant. Many people thought that the female singer "the more she spoke, the more she showed disrespect to the audience", many even expressed that Uyen Linh deserved to be boycotted:

"Your attitude deserves more anti-fans and boycott", "High on power, thought it was fun but it turned out to be tactless", "Criticizing and explaining everything but missing an apology", "I've always admired Uyen Linh's voice, and I like her even more because I'm in the same school.

But after watching the clip and reading Uyen Linh's explanation, I feel that Linh doesn't really understand", "You sing really well, 10 points for singing but your behavior with fans and everyone else is 1 point", "Do you think you are smart and superior? When choosing to be an artist, you need to know that even if the audience sometimes makes you angry, it is because they admire you.

You are lucky to have people who love and admire you but you are delusional about power. I like to listen to some of your songs and appreciate your style, from today I will never play music with your voice or watch any program with your appearance.
