"I often jog along the roads leading to Son Tra peninsula because of the cool, fresh climate. According to my memory, sim trees used to grow a lot on Son Tra peninsula.
Over time, the purple sim hills have gradually thinned out. The blooming of sim flowers along the roads leading to Son Tra mountain in recent years has added to the beauty of the natural scenery here," said Mr. Phi.

Mr. Truong Duc Binh (officer of the Inter-District Forest Protection Department) said that planting myrtle trees creates a beautiful landscape for people and tourists every summer. At the same time, it contributes to maintaining food sources for wild animals such as monkeys and red-shanked douc langurs.
